Our Story
Before founding Poseidon Plumbing, Nick wanted to start a business that helped people. He had this dream ever since he was a kid. Nick always enjoyed being known by loved ones as dependable, compassionate, and hard-working.
But, during grade school, Nick struggled to fit the mold at school. He was diagnosed with dyslexia which made his schoolwork harder for him than the average kid. Nonetheless, Nick’s struggles instilled in him a hard work ethic that he continues to use today. His time in a classroom setting showed him that he enjoyed working with his hands and fixing things.
Finding the Right Fit
After Nick graduated, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in construction management from Bowling Green University. During his internships, he realized that construction management had him trapped in an office all day. He knew it wasn’t the right fit for him, as he was looking for something hands-on.
So, Nick finished the requirements for an Associate's degree and started working in the trades. He worked in remodeling and began renovating houses. It was then that he fell in love with plumbing. He knew it was an industry he wanted to pursue wholeheartedly.
Nick dedicated himself to mastering the plumbing trade. He obtained several licenses within the plumbing industry, including his State of Ohio Plumbing License, “formally known as Master License”. Nick founded Poseidon Plumbing to help homeowners with their plumbing needs and service them with the best plumbing work in the greater Dayton area.
